New Starters

Enrolment

Starting school is a very exciting time for new students and families. We understand that it can also be a daunting experience for some, especially for new Preps.

For this reason, we have developed our successful Prep Transition program that helps to familiarise new students and families to our school and teachers.

Families are also encouraged to contact the school to arrange a personal tour of our facilities and learn more about our program and values.

How do I enrol my child?

Enrolment packs are available at the Front Office and on this website. Once the Enrolment Form is complete, please return it to the School with:

  • Completed confidential school record for each child.
  • Proof of your child’s identity and age, such as birth certificate.
  • A copy of your child’s immunisation certificate.

Buddy Program

At the start of the year, we pair Year 5 students with each Foundation child and they become special Buddies. Buddies help Prep students to settle in to big school and have a sense of belonging. Together they participate in special activities such as reading, crafts and practising to tie shoe laces!

Buddies are great role models of our value system and help to boost the confidence of new students. Our Year 5 students develop a strong sense of responsibility and leadership during the program and take pride in helping our new students adjust.
