The Principal's Desk Welcome to our web-page! It is my pleasure and privilege to be the Principal of Fairhills Primary School. Fairhills is a vibrant hive of activity and there is always something new and exciting happening. It is a pleasure to be part of such a positive environment. We respect every child as an individual with a unique range of talents and abilities to be developed whilst being at our school. We strive to ensure learning is enjoyable, challenging and engaging. We acknowledge student effort and celebrate achievement. Fairhills Primary enjoys a strong sense of community. Our school is supported by neighbours, who deeply value children, take pride in their history and maintain community assets. Our curriculum is structured to reflect local as well as government initiatives. Advanced technology supports learning, while the local environment is utilised for physical education, social and science activities. We value community participation, support on-going professional development of staff and encourage curriculum improvement through innovation. Parents are a vital part of the Fairhills’ community; they are enthusiastically welcomed into all aspects of school life, including working in classrooms and decision-making. We see the education of children as a shared responsibility and open communication as the major tool to achieve this.
